The background
As with all things BoldHER, our podcast is designed to foster growth and creativity not just for our listeners, but also the hosts themselves. Our hosts range from individuals with extensive podcast experience, to womxn who have never hosted one but have always been curious. We empower our hosts with the network and production necessary to create fascinating and in-depth miniseries, allowing them to explore topics they’ve always been passionate about or interested in.

Behind the Scenes
Yaz Ketcherside (she/her)
In early 2020, I was placed on furlough from my job. 2020 taught me many things, one being how much I enjoy building relationships, learning about people, and sharing their stories. I started an Instagram page with a focus on self-care, mental health, and spirituality. From that grew a video series/podcast, which allowed me to share individual stories around self-love and their journeys.
In November of 2020, Hannah Phalen (she/her), one of my co-workers and founder of BoldHER, saw all the things I've been up to and reached out to ask me to jump on their marketing/content team. I joined, not knowing anyone, and was surprised when I was welcomed with open arms and unconditional love. I couldn't have imagined a more comfortable, collaborative, and supportive community to be a part of. I am so thrilled to start up BoldHER's podcast and share individuals' stories that empower us to never settle and never give up on our dreams.
