Our story

It all started in 2017 when a group of Boston-based women joined together to chat about issues in their workplaces and daily lives.

Over time, our informal meet-ups (with wine & cheese, of course!) grew into something truly special: A community of 50+ women from a variety of backgrounds, fully committed to supporting one another.

Over the course of 4 years, monthly meet-ups provided us with the opportunity to discuss difficult topics we rarely had time to explore — from how to have difficult conversations with your boss and salary negotiations, to balancing professional goals with the desire to have a family, to feeling confident in advocating for your needs — we’ve covered A LOT of important topics. In the workplace, talking about these issues is not common practice. But at BoldHER, we believe in bringing these conversations out of the box and into the forefront of daily discussion.

Fast forward to 2021 and BoldHER is officially a registered non-profit! If this pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that friends, family, and our communities keep us going, motivated, and inspired. At BoldHER, our focus is to create an inclusive, forward-thinking environment where any women can find a supportive network and achieve their fullest potential.
